Location 2 – Hughestown & Tinoran

Description	Location 2 introduces Hughstown and Tinoran Hillforts. This vantage point is just above Baltinglass town centre, at a location called ‘Rathcoran House’. Its’ entrance is located to the right, after ‘Fatima Hall and just below the Graveyard. Please walk towards the large white building. Once in front of this building, locally known as ‘the Old Convent’, you will observe a seating area in front of the building. Please sit at the bench on your left, as you approach with Rathcoran House to your back.

Viewpoint	The image above is what you should be seeing when you are in the correct location. Once seated, you should have a good vantage point of two of the hillforts within this complex. Please refer to the picture above to ensure you are looking at the correct hilltops. The hilltop behind you is Sruhan, and will be explored at location point number two. This current  location may be exited on foot to your left, alongside the Church to make your way to the last location within the town
