Cross inscribed stone at Bridgets’ Chair.

Some folklore states that this shape of cross (one long leg, one short leg, and two equal sized legs) was an ancient symbolic representation of the long nights of Winter, the short nights of Summer and the equal lengths of day and night for Autumn and Spring. Others believe it to be A Christian cross carved on a Bronze Age Burial Tomb.
